NORTHWEST ROYALE Sign With ROCK RIDGE MUSIC

Eugene, Oregon quintet NORTHWEST ROYALE are bringing their "progressive hardcore" rock sound to the Rock Ridge Music roster with their forthcoming album, "Home Is Where The Hate Is", scheduled for release on May 9. The band are known for their intense live shows and they've built a huge following in the Pacific Northwest, sharing stages (since their inception in 2000) with the likes of DISTURBED, SLAYER, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, MASTODON, ROB ZOMBIE, PRONG and many others, and they've performed in the past on the Jägermeister Music Tour. In addition to an upcoming tour with labelmates DOMESHOTS (which will extend from March until June),NORTHWEST ROYALE are also scheduled to play a huge hometown show on March 11 at the WOW Hall in Eugene with OPETH and DEVILDRIVER. The band are sponsored by Jägermeister, Rock Star Energy Drink, Benavente Guitars, and Randall Amplifiers. Bandmembers include Colton D. Williams (guitar, lead vocals),Kenny Nestor (bass, backing vocals),Beef Wellington (drums),Travis Zering (guitar),and Blake Owens (keyboards, percussion, vocals).

"Home Is Where The Hate Is" was recorded in San Francisco with Chris Hanson of Redcar Lane Productions and the band sharing the production helm. Says drummer Wellington: "We’re really excited to join Rock Ridge and have the ability to put our album out everywhere while we still have complete control over the release. We're looking forward to growing with Rock Ridge Music and becoming like a family."
